Hello.
I Have applied to the university of redlands and I am worried that I might not get in. i am not sure if I have a good chance. I am a transfer student and have over 40 units under my belt from a community college. My GPA is a 3.16. I am a member of student government and do a lot of activities for the school. I am also senior writer for the school paper. I got a glowing recomendation from a college counselor, one that is very hard to get a hold of because she is very important. I also volunteered for a rape crisis hotline. As for the high school, my combined GPA is a 2.6, but for the grade 10-12 is a 3.6.I was editor of my high school paper and a member of key club. I did horrible on my SAT's getting a 990. But I don't think they count if you are a transfer student. As for the essay, I am proud of it, but it may come off a bit thrown together considering I did it at the last possible minute. But it is still well liked by professors that I have showed it to. I did not have an interview and want to know if that will greatly affect my chances. I think I am a fairly good student and so far I got into san diego state but I really want to go to redlands and want to know what my chances look like.

anyone have any input?

Not having an interview won't affect your chances. Most schools don't even allow interviews for transfers. As far as everything else is concerned, I don't see anything stopping you from getting in. But then again, I hadn't heard of University of Redlands till you mentioned it.

My Boyfriend transferred to University of Redlands from a local CCC. It's a decent liberal arts college in So Cal.
