<p>Basically, URI has a great program for what I want (PharmD) and its very affordable for me. However, I also hear it is a big pary school, and I'm, uh, not a partier... My idea of a fun night is talking with friends, going to see a show or movie, some sort of on-campus club, etc. Is there any room for some like me there or should I give it up?</p>

<p>You can be a non-drinker anywhere..........and I am sure you will find others, including a group from pharmacy who will want to go things in a group that aren't tied to alcohol.</p>
<p>I am from Rhode Island, so about half of my graduating high school class is going to URI, including 3 of my very good friends. All 3 of them didn't drink in high school, and from what they have told me, they still don't drink in college and have made a lot of friends. I think that as long as you find some friends who don't drink, it won't really matter. Another one of my friends is doing the PharmD program and she says its very difficult, but manageable.
