Daughter was accepted today as well. Applied EA on 10/26. College of Arts and Science, in state, 32k scholarship over 4 years.

Was your scholarship information presented in the letter? My son has good stats and has received some very impressive merit aid from all of his early action schools but nothing mentioned in his acceptance letter to URI. Love Rhode Island but as an OOS with a his stats, canā€™t justify the price.

Hi, yes, it said he was awarded $44k throughout the 4 years as a Presidential Scholar. 4.3 GPA, 1330 SAT

My daughter received an email to check her portal at 2:02 12/15. She is OOS was awarded $44,000/$11,000 a year presidential scholarship GPA 4.01 didnā€™t submit sat score, 1 AP 5 dual enrollments 3 academic awards and lots of activities. Major Environmental & Natural Resource Economics.

Awww thanks for checking! My daughter isnā€™t too worried because I told her this was normal and there was no reason to worry and she believed me (man I hope Iā€™m not wrong haha). Itā€™s a super busy time of year for her (and for everyone) so sheā€™s very distracted by that. She had a big concert last night and late night so sheā€™s distracted. Also she knows no once else who applied since we live so far away and so it helps that she doesnā€™t have friends who have already been accepted, etc.

Now for ME I am another story. I will feel sooooo much better once she hopefully gets accepted. I really like this school for her with a couple of minor exceptions but no school is going to be perfect.

Big hugs to your daughter - Iā€™m sure it just takes time for the the admissions dept to handle all the logistics.
