@rockyc I completely understand you. I am in the same boat. However, I applied as a transfer student this year so I’ not eligible for any type of merit based aid even if I get in. They only do FA. If you get in, have you though about applying to the Bonner Scholars program? I think you can still apply to that. Its 5000 a year. Are you from VA? VA students also get $3,300 a year if you’re a VA resident.
No, she has crew practice after school and won’t be home until 6! Ironically she also received two letters in the mail from two other schools she’s already been accepted to (both of which she is considering) so that should cheer her up if indeed this one is WL. (Last week she had a WL and a rejection). 5 more schools to go and then she’ll have to decide.

My D got acceptance in CO today. At least I am assuming acceptance. Big envelope that feels like there is a folder in it, spider on the front, red circle on the back. She won’t be home until about 6pm MDT.
Do any of the acceptances include financial aid info?

Congrats to those accepted and to those on the WL, don’t lose hope, some kids will get in, why not you? I had no idea you can’t get merit aid on WL, seems sorta weird. For those who didn’t, big hugs, I know how hard that is but I assure you, time does help and you are all bright or you wouldn’t have even applied so you will end up where you are suppose to be!
@camwow No, I don’t think it’s weird but it may make this more emotional/painful for younif you really love the school but don’t get taken off the WL. I would advise against it, pick another school to get excited about & focus on that one, shift your emotions away from UR a little as you may have to go elsewhere & I want you to be excited about wherever you end up!
