<p>When I did this, the site read “Account Error” (is that a euphemism for “I’m sorry you weren’t accept.”?). Please reply. I’m curious to find out whether this worked or not.</p>

<p>It worked for me. I was prompted my 600$ deposit… Does this mean I got accepted?</p>

<p>I put in my friends last name and it also worked. Then put in a random name and it didnt work. So im wondering if it’s connected to the last name or the user id number. My friend also applied ED.</p>

<p>EDIT: Never mind, any last name works. It’s just the ID you need.</p>

<p>what do you mean any last name works? do you mean that as long as the ID is correct you can type in gibberish for the name? sounds like the ID is all that matters- and that you got in!</p>

<p>Yeah, the ID is all that matters. I typed in gibberish for last names and it still prompted me for the $600. So I have to make sure I put the right last name into the box :(</p>

<p>I don’t know, but my ex-girlfriend’s ID and last name combo did not work as well. I care for a lot and I think she should’ve gotten in. I’m currently writing an appeal to the Dean of admissions that I will send out if she gets rejected. Going to UR was her dream, and I know that she will go far in life. I for one knows she deserves to go to UR; the only problem is she might not have had the best essays. I would gladly give up my spot for her. She has about three leadership positions and like a 3.89 GPA and an SAT of 2010. I have like a 3.92 and SAT of 1850 (lol i suck) but a math and reading cum of 1310 which is still pretty bad. So I’m going to ask - no - beg the Admissions Committee to reevaluate her application with the newfound knowledge that I’m going to tell them.</p>

<p>that is so sweet of you. it is my boyfriends dream to go to UR too. i guess the letters from admissions will come tomorrow in the mail and give us our REAL answers!</p>

<p>Wait for the letters! Last year they mailed on Friday (USPS Priority) and we received the good word on Monday in PA. Don’t get hopes up or dashed based on a theory on how their computer system may operate. You’re almost there.</p>
