Accepted today! I think it’s really cool that everyone receives a unique letter
Me too, I got in through HEOP, but it doesn’t state that in our acceptance letter.
How do we view our financial aid, merit awards and such?
Just got accepted :D! @legalpad12 i also wanna know
I think it comes with the admissions stuff in the mail a few days after getting accepted @legalpad12
@dylanj24 as in the snail mail? even for international applicants?
Accepted today! I’m so excited!
And @helloitsmelol and everyone else asking, financial aid comes out about 5 days after your decision and you’ll be able to access it through your portal. They should send you an email when it becomes available. Everyone including international applicants gets a FedEx package with the acceptance letter but I’m not sure if financial aid documents will be snail mailed after they’re released. It doesn’t come with the initial package though.
Hey guys do we have an accepted students groupme/ would anyone be interested in starting one?
Hi guys, just got my acceptance letter
I did apply for financial aid. But I see no traces of financial aid letter though
Will that be given later?
Has anyone else who hasn’t gotten an admissions decision yet gotten an invitation to join “the hive”? Does that mean I won’t get accepted unless I put things on there or what?
Anyone still waiting :’)
Does financial aid take 5 days or 5 business days
@drowning2021 I’m guessing it’s 5 business days.
Yes, I was accepted as well… Iappreciate the special touch in the letter…Congrats all

Has anyone received a message for or tried out URoc’s new feature called “The Hive”? Is it just for applicants or can admitted students participate too? It seems like the former, but a notification still appeared on my account.
@selizabeth No definitely not. I think it’s just a way for accepted students to get to know each other or something. I’ve already gotten accepted and I didn’t post anything there
@Magnamious If you watch the video that came with the invitation email you’ll see that the hive is actually a new admissions initiative that UR is starting. Essentially, current students and applicants will be able to post their stats, ECs, classes and other info about themselves, view the information of other applicants and admitted students and rate each other’s profiles so it’s essentially a chance me thread on steroids imo. Admissions officers will also use what students post on the hive as part of their decision making process as it will supposedly provide a forum for applicants to reveal interesting info about themselves that otherwise never would have come out in an application. I think accepted students got the email invite so that we can provide a kind of baseline accepted student profile that next years applicants can look at but participating for us and them is of course entirely optional. It seems to be geared more towards applicants than the accepted students.
D was Waitlisted- anyone else? But feeling encouraged that only 3% made this list. Anyone know chances?
Accepted after what has felt like an eternity! So happy!!!
