@pleasantondad I have been waitlisted, it’s a little frustrating, I know (I went into a little episode here and the guys helped me overcome it–thanks guys–). The good thing is; there’ll be a re-selection early on April, and if we couldn’t make it, there’ll another in May. And if your daughter is very much interested in Rochester, they’ve given us an opportunity to considered for admission in Spring, but you gotta fill out a form for that, and the admission is on a first-filled first-considered basis, so yeah hurry up.
Waitlist is still great! I was waitlisted on Monday and immediately filled out the “still interested” form on MyRoc. I was accepted yesterday

@Homeostasis101 Don’t take my word for it, but I think it’s very low. I’m pretty sure last year they didn’t accept anyone at all

I had been waitlisted and I see an additional question on my portal today as “Would you like admissions to hive feedback from peers in application review…” does anyone know what that is? Have I been accepted?

Hi everyone. I’m an international applicant.I’m still in step 4 and its past April 3rd. Anyone else on step 4?
Email. It was within 2 days. Really weird but I’m ok with it 
They said that everyone would get a decision by April 1st so if any of you are still waiting I’d advise you to call and see what’s happening. It’s possible that your file was lost or that they don’t have some of the necessary documentation to make a decision so calling to check up and make sure everything is okay would be the best course of action imo. It seems like they’ve been behind schedule a lot this year but they haven’t said anything on any of their social media platforms about applicants still waiting and it’s getting ridiculous now. Call and ask what’s happening with your application, if you can provide them with any documents to facilitate the process and when you can expect to get a decision now that April 1 has come and gone.

Hey guys! i know that the UC system has a admitted student ‘conditions’ like how we have to report to the school if we get a grade C or below. Does university of rochester have something like that in how they can withdraw our offers if we get bade grades for our last semester in senior year?
Hey guys! I’m another international student here and was accepted on 22nd April. I’ve applied for financial aid but I haven’t heard from them yet. Can another international student tell me when they were given their financial aid decision? Also, does anyone if Rochester gives near-full aid to internationals?
