has anyone had an alumni , or an on-campus interview here?

there is a sheet you fill out before requesting an interview, with 4 questions about yourself. 1 was what is your courseload this year, and I believe another is how you became interested in rochester

does anyone know the exact questions, as they cant be accessed on teh site anymore as interviews arent available anymore. my friend did an off-campus and said all they ask is these 4 questions...

Yeah i had an on-campus interview. The questions on that sheet were what classes are you taking, what extracurriculars are you interested in continuing at Rochester, and what got you interested in Rochester. I think that was it. I mean, there was the name and address stuff but i dont think that really counts as a question.

I had one on the phone. It was very brief and seemed mostly to be a Q/A session to learn about the school. I don't think it's terribly important. It probably exists to guage interest to make sure that Rochester isn't a safety school that you don't know anything about.

On the contrary, I think the interview for Rochester is very important. It is one of the only colleges that ranks interview as a "very important factor" according to the common data set.

It is important...in gauging if Rochester's your safety school while you pray fervently to get into the Ivies. At least, I hope so because that's what my interview was like and it's what my interviewer told me, more-or-less.
