University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology both have good reputations for engineering, and obviously similar locations. What are some differences? Is one better than the other?

RIT had plans to change from a quarter system to a semester-based curriculum. Don’t know if those plans have been put on hold. Student body generally is opposed to such a change.

There are other differences but it depends on your major. For example, there’s no Aerospace Engineering classes at UR.
