Do they send decisions out on the weekends?

This is my daughter’s last school she’s waiting to hear back from. I’m guessing we won’t hear until next week, still keeping fingers crossed! This would be a great place for her

has anyone noticed that we aren’t getting any emails from USD for the last month or more either? Just the general ones they send to get you excited about potentially attending? Last one I got was to celebrate MLK day and now nothing from them. Seems weird?

@HLT1967 D gets probably 3 or 4 a week from Admissions.

@ifer67 that’s what I was wondering
 I was getting a few a week and now the last month or month and a half, literally none.

This is my daughter’s last school as well
Im hoping they don’t keep us waiting until the very last moment!

They are having an admitted student day tomorrow. Seems odd they wouldn’t have released all of their decisions by now like the other catholic and Jesuit universities. Not sure why this school waits so long

Anyone hear anything??

Nothing here! Mine has been stuck at “ready for review” for ever and a day! Pretty frustrating to be honest. Good luck to all that haven’t heard yet and congrats to all who are in.

Do y’all think the delay has to do with the college admissions scandal that they have been implicated in? I’m also dumbfounded at how long this is taking considering we applied in December.

they have more than one admitted students day. I just called in and asked

I think it is unfortunately the USD way. Last year they sent out decisions up until the last few days of March.

USD stated back in January that they would begin rolling out decisions mid-February and continue through the end of March. I know it’s frustrating (we’re waiting on another school that has communicated nearly nothing re: timeline), but at least USD was up front on their roll-out plan.

So we still could get in?

Is everyone who still waiting submit close to deadline? My daughters still says ready for review

@jewels2 No, I submitted way before some of my friends who have already received their decisions (both acceptances and rejections)

I spoke to admissions today and they said my son’s decision would be posted in the portal within the next 48 hours and that they will be releasing decisions up to 4/1/19

Was that a general answer or did you give his info?

I’m still waiting and I submitted in late November

@jewels2 I gave him his specific info and the admissions counselor said he could see his decision
he just said that it would be loaded into his portal within 24-48 hours. Sounded very positive but he couldn’t tell me over the phone which is fine. I just wanted to be sure his application was still in process.
