in that case, i retract my statement about the afternoon lol
Haha yes, they didn’t send me a email though, I had to check the portal
ive been doing that for the past few weeks. Im praying for my refresh button at this point
Status still - “Complete Ready for Review” for us
Don’t sweat it guys, I honestly think you guys got it. A lot of the people in hear have better stats than me. My gpa is only 3.7 but I do a lot of volunteer work and in clubs
Wow and I used the wrong here^^ haha so if that doesn’t help you feel better idk what will. I’m 99% sure you guys got this !!!
Has anyone else heard anything?
nothing here… very odd if lots of decisions were released the thread would be crazy
Yes, every year this thread becomes a slow burn of aggravation. Not sure why they continue to stick to this process of releasing batches. My first 2 didn’t care since it was a backup plan, but my third lives and breathes USD and Mondays stink because we don’t know if we should be checking and re-checking (especially since nearly everyone on this thread says they found out from the portal BEFORE getting any emails)
Fingers crossed for you also!
We look forward to our D being able to sit down and asses options! Like thousands of other parents!
Just checked my portal and saw I was admitted!! I haven’t received the official email yet. OOS from NV
Congrats!! oh and everyone I’m from ohio^^
oh the things i would do to receive my decision today
Do we know when they stop sending admissions?
Last Monday, what time did decisions come out? Does anyone expect news later today or are we back to waiting another week?!?!
Last Monday and Tuesday, people received their decision at 10:30 am PST. Also, I texted USD admissions today, and they said they’d also release results tomorrow.
Has anyone here visited the campus by any chance ? I’m hoping to hear back this week so i’ll be able to plan a visit by spring break if i’m admitted.
Not since pre-COVID. Still no word on any plans to allow in-person visits anytime this semester. Questions about campus or just hoping for a real tour?
I heard they are not offering any in-person tours but since i’m from out of state we are hoping to at least get a better idea of what the surrounding area is like and be able to look at the campus from the outside on our own.
IMO (not that I’m any expert), USD and the surrounding area is about as good as it gets. After 3 kids, I’ve had the opportunity to visit about half of the “Top 10 beautiful campuses” Princeton, Duke, LMU, UCLA, Indiana, Berkeley and at least a dozen others. USD is breathtaking, gorgeous buildings, with a milliion dollar (or 5) view. Looks down over Mission Bay, accessible to the beach and downtown SD and is clean and inviting.
Sorry for the commercial, but when I was 18, I didn’t know these places existed and the only drawback for my daughter is that if she gets in, we will be visiting too often!
