University of San Diego vs. Universit of Colorado at Boulder

University of San Diego:
Pros:1. It's in SAN DIEGO!!!! need I say more? 2. Best school I got into. I 3. Beautiful campus. 4. A lot of really wealther people go there... so good connections for the future. 5. I'll be able to have a car if I stay in California.
Cons: 1. It's EXPENSIVE. It cost $55,000 a year! My mom will only pay $24,000, the rest i'll need to get loads. 2. It's a TINY school. 3. Not sure how good the party scene is...

USD is the more selective of the schools I got into(unlike boulder). I feel I accomplished a little more if I go here just because its a little harder to get into than boulder.

Colorado at Boulder
Pros:1. SNOW! <3 I like to snowboard. 2. Two of my best friends are going there next year. 3. Big school 4.The town is so cool, there's so much to do!
5. Good party scene (this is important) 6. Beautiful school
Cons: 1. Basically anyone with a 3.0 and above can get in... really easy to be admitted. 2. Expensive again... $43,000 a year. Mom will still only pay $24,000.

Basically my biggest problem with Boulder is that so many people from my school that I know i worked harder than got into it too because Boulder takes like anyone with a 3.0 and above.

Yeah I have no idea. advice please?

Don't sell Boulder short -- it's a top ranked university in science/tech, with Nobel prize winners on its faculty. It attracts world-class visitors & speakers. (In many ways it is more prestigious than San Diego.)

It sounds like your problem is one with image -- you're worried what your friends think! Is their opinion worth the extra $40,000 of debt you'd incur at USD?

no its more about I worked harder than certain people who got into Boulder, who didnt get into usd.

What are you interested in academically? Comparing the strength of the programs you're interested in is an important factor.

Oh i'm going in under buisness.
