@Banker1 - does it specifically say honors? Looks like honors program is just starting up in 2018? D18 letter said she is a university scholar - don’t know if that’s the same thing?
@Jacqui001 @Clementine7624 It was a letter dated 12/20 sent separately from the acceptance packet. It says she’s been accepted into USF’s new Honors College. It lists a few bullet point benefits including completing an honors thesis or capstone project and graduating with honors distinction. It also has says she’s eligible to apply to the Getty Honors College Scholarship.
@Banker1 Same here in regards to honors college!
I just got accepted to Simmons with an 80k scholarship so that might be my #1 right now in terms of money but I’m going to do a retour of all the campuses if money is right so i can gauge it better
@Banker1 - was she also a University scholar for merit purposes? Just trying to figure out if d18 would be honors college. We are out of town for a week so won’t get the mail for a while. Thanks
Hi @Clementine7624 my D’s acceptance packet included her merit scholarship. I hope that answers your question.
@Banker1. D got her honors letter today. Sounds like it’s the first year of this program. Exciting
Has anyone accepted heard anything about financial aid yet?
@mimica7 I haven’t gotten financial aid yet either…
We scheduled campus visits for schools on the west coast and we were impressed with the breadth of visits available at USF for admitted and prospective students. For instance we were able to register for the Nursing Admitted Student day where nursing students visit the simulation lab, draw blood in skills lab, attend nursing lecture, and hear from current students.
Accepted! +Honors college admission as well as $25,000 scholarship.

My daughter got accepted in Chemistry. Anyone know if USF pre med program is good. Are their academic is challenging?
USF offers an allied health track. They state that their students accepted into a medical program is 20% above the national average. Med schools care about high GPA’s and high MCAT scores. They also want a well rounded student. You will receive a solid preparation for med school.
I applied RD and got in with a $22,000 scholarship. Really happy to be accepted!
Did everyone who got accepted receive an email or just check the portal? Congrats to everyone who was accepted
@catpuccino how were you notified? Email, snail mail or checked portal ?
@knowledgeispower18 I got an email saying I was accepted, and found out about the scholarship via the package they sent via mail.
@Jacqui001 So about the San Francisco weather you will not die of heat. It is definitely much cooler in that area and tends to be sweater weather. The average temperature is about 60 which is nice because it is not too cold and not too hot. And as for skiing and snow the city is surrounded by mountains so if you want to get in some skiing I hear you can go up into the mountains to do that.
The U San Fran twitter account says acceptance letters were mailed today - anyone get an email?
