I emailed my counselor to see if she would tell me if I was accepted but she just told me that I would get something in the mail within the next two weeks. Worried I’ve been rejected even though I exceed all requirements. Has anyone been accepted for Business Admin?
I was accepted for finance with a 3.2 gpa
I have the same gpa, I don’t think USF is super competitive for transfer, I think I am just overly anxious about getting rejected.
3.2 was the most recent gpa but cumulative was 3.6. Also, strong extracurriculars and excellent personal statement. I know a few people have been rejected already with lower gpa and higher gpa.
@ptiprincess96 I also emailed one of the USF counselors and he told me that I have been admitted and I should be getting my acceptance letter with in two weeks. He also told me to start reviewing my next steps…
He told me about my acceptance on April 7th and I received my letter on April 11th.
Still haven’t heard back yet.
I have a question everyone who heard back? What was the time length you waited to get the acceptance notification?
For example, the time length it took in between getting all your documents processed and getting admission.
My documents were processed about a week after I submitted them (back in February). A decision was made on March 11 and I heard back on April 12. They notified me through email and then the next day I got my letter in the mail.

Anyone started a transfer group page on facebook?
I applied to the main campus and have heard anything yet. Really doubting myself at this point
there is a website called askdons.■■■■■■■■■■ where someone answers questions about usf. they said that acceptance rate for transfers is about 60% and as long as you meet the requirements you have a pretty good chance of getting in. I haven’t heard back yet so I was worried but when i read that they accept 60% and I have met the requirements I feel like i should get in. I think they are just taking long to mail out decisions, wish they used the portal instead.
@ptlprincess96 I called them and they said they’re sending out their decisions in waves. The lady checked mine and said i should hear back next week and I’ll have two weeks to decide what I want to do from their decision. However, they are not allowed to disclose any acceptances or rejections via phone so I still don’t know if I got in or not.
