University of San Francisco - Possible Transfer Student

I'm currently a community college student looking to apply as a transfer student to USF.
I've read all there is to know online at USF's website, but I would like to learn more about the campus based on the perspective of alumini and current students.
If anyone who has attended USF, or knows someone who has, I would like to know the Pros and Cons of:

Academics - class sizes, professors, quality

Dorm life - dorm conditions, regulations

Diversity among students

Gym Facility - gym condition, intramural/recreational sports

Students - What are they like? Are they different in any way because the school is private?

Living in SF - cost of living near campus, biking, public trans, nearby shopping, culture, nightlife.....

Your overall rating of USF from 1 - 10 (10 being the best)

I would really appreciate it if there is anyone who can help me! Thank You!

Alex,
though my D is a Fall 2013 college freshman, we’ve visited USF twice this summer, including attending a presentation and tour. I truly believe that you would be very happy with USF. The grounds are amazing, they have a very impressive matriculation rate for Pre-Med students into Med-school, an unbelievable Nursing program (from BSN all the way to DNP). They’re buliding an entirely new Science Center (as I’m sure you saw on their website). Athletic facilities-wise, their soccer and IM field has just been re-surfaced with an all-weather turf in the past week, and their Koret Gym is un-freekin-believable.
Their professors are outstanidng. Oh, and their Law school is very very good. They will take care of you.
They’re at the very top of our list, but we’re a Nursing family.
Buon Fortunato.
