I've taken a recent interest in this school and am really curious about it. General thoughts about the school. I personally love the location. It is a Jesuit school so i am curious about how strictly religous it is. I think i have heard the campus is quite ugly but i've never seen it. Any information would be welcomed.

the campus is not ugly at all...its in a good location, in the city

most jesuit colleges are not "religious" = sure they are jesuits, but jesuits schools are really into educating the whole person

my D has friends that go there and love it

Campus is pretty nice and USF is a solid school.

Nice campus, for sure... Pretty solid academics in an excellent location... Right next to the Haight.

The University of San Francisco is very expensive. Academics are not real strong. Think junior college level of difficulty. Students do not appear to be real motivated. However, the school is in an excellent location and the campus is beautiful; although parking is almost impossible during the day. So, if you are not real interested in academic endeavors, but want a beautiful campus in a cool location, USF is the place for you.

i wouldnt call it amazing
if you can get in, and its the best you can get into, then go

its not amazing, but it is good, especially if you want to live in SF

I would say it has strong academics...
like not amazing but strong

it ranked number 100ish in USNEWS, so it obviously isnt amazing, but it is better than most.

Plus
SF is amazing so yeah
if you want to go
go

USF is pretty small in terms of campus size and student body size. I heard it's more of a commuter school. I'm not exactly sure why seeing as that there are a bunch of out of state students. And also, there's the weird 30 something percent of guys and 60 something percent girls ratio. something to consider i suppose.

It's not a commuter school--and the student body is not weak, academically.

It's a (relatively) liberal Jesuit school located in a fascinating neighborhood.

Like Santa Clara U. and LMU, (other Cali. Catholics,) it's often overshadowed by the UCs, Claremonts, Stanford, etc... So many excellent unis in California! (including USF, SCU, and LMU.)

yeah it's not a bad school but the full tuition is very expensive if you're paying all of it. and yes it's in the middle of san francisco so it's pretty central
