Has anyone received their Financial Aid package (as opposed to merit award) yet? An email went out about a week ago saying this process was starting and I think I read that it begins Jan 15th or something.
Yes, my son got his full package on Jan 17. He got an email and it was updated in his portal.
I got the same email. I have not gotten my need based aid package yet.
yes i got my package last week
Still nothing for us. Says FAFSA has been received though.
i would wait it out or maybe email them/ give them a call
You might already know this but you have to go into the other portal with the royal ID. You create a new account and then click on the left for financial aid and then it comes up. There is an email that says how to do this that I initially overlooked.
Love Scranton but they are coming out as more expensive for us than I think any other school.
they didnāt end up being too expensive for me, a little less than Rutgers (which is my state school)
When did the SJLA info go up on the portals? Was it there when acceptances went out? I only noticed it there this morning. Does anyone know?
No idea, I didnāt even notice it. Thanks for pointing that out!
Donāt see it on sonās portal. Where do you see it? Maybe only a select few have it.
You have to scroll down a little bit and then you should see it, itās just one of those rectangles.
Itās in the box under āInvitation for Your Accepted Student Appointmentā and above āSchedule a Campus Visitā when logging in from a phone.
Not there. Iām guessing heās not eligible.
Iām not sure of the criteria for selection or if itās an ongoing notification, but I did read that students can apply to be accepted during undergrad.
I heard from the SJLA program last week they sent me something in the mail and it was on my portal.

Hi, May I ask how did Scranton end up being less than Rutgers? I am Rutgers alumni and my daughter applied there as well. We told her everything has to be compared to Rutgers money wise. We really like Scranton but unless she gets a ton in merit I canāt see her going there.
