Anyone know historically what SC has done with the “at least $40K/$86K” language in relation to the actual outcome in March? Like do they potentially add zero, $500K, $1K, $5K, $10K? … trying to mentally set expectations.
Out of State/ Test Optional- Did anyone get offered merit scholarships?
My son last year received $500 more than in state tuition in March.
2 years ago when my daughter was accepted, the final amounts aligned pretty closely to these estimated on this website. Her’s originally said at least 86k, (she had a 34 ACT and a 4.0 UW), final in March was 86K (in state tuition waiver) + 2K. I remember a small handful of people went from partial tuition waiver to full.
Son was Deferred also. OOS. 4.3 W GPA , test optional.
Accepted to Penn State and Ohio State main campuses today and Univ. of Pittsburgh main campus last week so he has options.
Out of state….accepted to Business….3.9UW….Test Optional….Offered a $40k over 4 scholarship
Those are great schools. It’s not very straight forward. My son got into UofSC but hasn’t heard from Ohio State yet. So hard to figure the acceptances…
Last year that is what my son received and when final numbers came out he got $500 more a semester. It’s basically in-state tuition plus the $500. He got into Capstone and absolutely loves it.
