Do you mind sharing how much merit she got in March? I e have friends with similar or lower stats offered merit and we were not. It is my daughters #1. So hard to wait till March

I canāt speak to how likely it is, but in my one experience, my daughter was offered $40k plus over 4 years in March. She had a 4.2 wgpa, and submitted a 1300 sat.

Was it listed in your acceptance letter?
My 2021 said sheād get the āat least 40kā one and thatās what she ended up getting that march.

Was it in her acceptance letter? We didnāt have anything in our acceptance letter, which is frustrating, because friends, who had equal or lower scores did.
We are in the same boat here. Frustrating because some friends with lower scores did get offered merit in acceptance letters
Has anyone actually got an acceptance to Honors college yet?

They donāt release honors decisions until mid- Feb per their website- maybe it is different for in state?

Last year, my son (OOS) got into Honors just before Christmas. The Top Scholars was released until mid-February. I believe the wording online was the same last year. So, maybe you will hear this week.

Iām wondering the same thing. My DD did not get merit with a 4.2 gpa. She had a 29 ACT. Wondering if we should not have submitted score. Itās expensive oos without merit.
So do you think there is still a chance for merit money? We got no merit, but she has a great gpa. Her ACT was decent but not super high.
S23 did not submit with a 4.3 gpa and did not get merit.
I hope so. Without merit, we may not be able to make USC work for us.
We just rsvpād to Admitted Student Day and Scholars Social event the first weekend in Feb (there are 3 optional dates). USC seems to be the top choice for D. At the moment. Waiting for a few more schools she applied to. We are flying in from Wisconsin. We have not been to the campus yet. Did anyone go to this last year? Any good info you would like to share?
We are from OOS and have visited the campus twice, once last spring and again this fall. Beautiful campus, extremely friendly staff and students. Top choice for us. You will not be disappointed. We stayed at the Hilton and the Graduate, both were great. We too are waiting on a couple schools as finance is a big consideration.

My DD submitted a 30 ACT and did not get merit. However, per the admissions office, final merit decisions will be made in March.
May I ask what major? My daughter has a 1370 SAT and a 4.35 weighted GPA and got no merit. Also OOS.
Did you go back in and look again? We went back in and the merit was there.
Oopsā¦sorry. That was a different college. We did not get merit yet either

She was a Business major.
Anxious to see if any honors college acceptances are released soon. Looking back to previous years it sounds like they released the first round right before Christmas.
