Is the drop down only to change majors or provide test scores? Looks like people invited to apply honors still have the drop down. Confused as to why you would provide additional information if accepted. Maybe the drop down is there only for honors kids to provide more information.

Was invited to honors, applied, and we have no drop down here. I wonder if it’s just how they control the waves of applications.

Same here.

Only for some. My daughter received her merit much later, which was too late because she had already decided on another college.

I personally think we are all just trying to make some rhyme or reason of it at this point to get through this stressful day! My child’s drop down is still there and he was invited to the honors college however I feel like you do, why would we still have the option to change anything if they were already accepted.

applied on 10/18, so after EA
thought EA was 11/1, so had to choose RD. Applied for Honors before 11/1, got email last night EA acceptances would come today, but he was RD, so dont expect anything but deferral if anything, BUT no drop down, so maybe they evaluated app already.

I found a post from spring regular decision last year. A parent stated her daughter was accepted in December EA and her drop-down menu was still on her page. So now I am back to full stress mode.

Maybe you could put in a request to change your major if you don’t get into first choice. Who knows! As someone said this is all crazy speculation. I wouldn’t anticipate decisions before 4:00 at the earliest. I don’t think they like to send them when kids could still be in school.

Wonder if there are post that say the drop down was gone.

Good detective work. I combed through last years ea and couldn’t find any mention of that.

A A quick search just brought up that post from last year. Said some had it and others did not.

Wow
mine applied regular decision but did not get that email last night. Maybe they still looked at yours and put you in under EA?

So some got in with drop down and some without? I’m worried because we are OOS and we did not send test scores because of Rigor and Transcript but thinking we should have sent the scores. Everything is inflated and scores were fine after reading some of these post.

Our kids will land where they are meant to be. Mine did not send in her scores as well, as she felt it hurt her more than it benefited her. Cannot second guess now. Best of luck to all!

On the contrary, I’m now kind of second-guessing and wishing we didn’t send in his test scores. He only has a 1250 with a 3.8 GPA. Lots of extracurriculars work experience varsity sports national honor Society but I feel like his SAT scores do not match that

Thanks! That’s good advice. I guess we will know soon.

My D has similar stats - 1240 and 3.8 GPA, lots of ECs, work experience, varsity sports, NHS, etc - but she did not send test scores. Now she is wondering if she should have sent them. Hopefully both of our kids get good news today!
