University of South Florida Chances?

What are my chances of getting into the University of South Florida in Tampa with the following stats:

Residence - Georgia
Race - Asian/Pacific Islander
Gender - Male
Age - 17

SAT - CR: 560, MAT: 650, WR: 580 (taken in October, 2006).
GPA - 3.2 unweighted. (unsure of weighed-GPA)
Class Rank - 280 of 580
Completed Course Rigor - Honors, Some dual-enrollment
Rigor of Currently Enrolled Courses - 1 AP, 3 College-Prep, 3 Dual-Enrollment
Other Academic Information - Dual-Enrolled in a local community college; 30 college credit-hours; 3.3 college GPA.

E/C Information - 4yrs JROTC (currently 2nd in command over 150 other students); 3yrs Varsity Air Rifle (currently team co-captain). Over 1000 hrs. community service.

I am not entirely certain if I included ALL of the E/C info. within my application, but I know for certain that USF is aware of my dual-enrollment courses.
Not sure if it makes a difference, but I applied Regular Decision using the "Preferred App." that the college e-mailed me (which was a reduced version of the traditional application and waived the application fee).

I would be shocked if you were not accepted.

You should be fine, easily accepted. USF is not one of the toughest schools to get into, even if you're out of state.

Thanks for the replies so far! I guess I was just going through the "OMG! WHAT IF I DON'T GET IN?!" phase of the process...
Nevertheless, for anyone who hasn't already done so, I would still certainly appreciate your input regarding my chances.

Also, RLG327 mentioned the USF was not the hardest school to get into for a FL resident. What about someone like me who resides in GA? Are my chances still good?

Also: perhaps this may not be in the right area of the forum, but aside from USF, what other colleges should I be looking into for admission? Which places would I be likely to be admitted into - that are also prestigious?

What do you mean, do you mean other florida schools?

Any schools throughout the nation... I like florida because it's on the coast, but if I'm going to an out-of-state school anyway, why not just go to one that'll look great on resumes and grad. school apps? =D

Yes, even if you're in GA you should still get in no sweat.

UF is like no chance for someone OOS, but USF is not nearly as competitive.

yea ur in easily man
prob. get a lil cash for it

So, it looks like the general verdict is that I'm "sure to get in"... Since this is now what I'm going to consider a safety school, where should I really start looking into? Which schools should I apply to - that'll be prestigious and will accept me (despite my low GPA)?
Thanks!

Try FSU, UMiami, UCF.

You are not sure to get in. In fact, you will be automatically deferred if your UW GPA is less than 3.0, and being out of state doesn't really help you here. They have been getting more applicants over the last couple of years due to increased national publicity (mainly because of the football team) and you will now have to stand out amongst a bigger pool. Of course, they're far from being the most selective school in the country, so you still have a good shot, but take all of the "automatic in" post with a grain of salt.

USF has a really competitive academic environment, make certain you can handle the academic rigors there. I would not be surprised if you were not admitted, sorry. Though, you have a shot, what about Flagler College, it fits your academic profile.
