University of South Florida vs University of Central Florida important question...

If I have already been accepted to both of these schools for the fall term of 2010, but I do not meet the requirements for the honors college of either one, which of these two universities would most likely give me better opportunities as far as internships/health-related jobs/volunteer/research in the medical field even though I am not in the honors college??? I am majoring in biology/health-related major, and later on planning to enter medical school and become a Pediatrician.

Thank you very much in advance for your help :)

I would check with both schools and see if any preference is given to graduate/medical schools for their graduates. They should also be able to provide statistics. Florida Southern, a private college in Lakeland, advertises that they have an agreement with USF that graduates from FSC get preference into USF Medical School. I would imagine USF would give their own graduates some preference too.

Didn’t you just ask this exact question a week or two ago?

i forgot to mention I am not in the honors college, and I heard usually research opportunities, and internships are for students in honors college.

I can’t say for sure but I believe USF has the better Health related programs and UCF has the better Technical related programs.

I get that from lurking these forums trying to see whose better UF or UCF.
