I was looking at rankings and USC falls in the top ten for undergraduate business education but when i got into the specifics like finance or accounting, USC did not really stand out in any of them. What is the Marshall School of Business really known for?

I would like to know as well

USC Marshall is probably the cliquiest business school in Southern California. They preach about their trojan network (which I can attest is both true and total bull-*, I mean, I work at a company where the president hired two friends of his son, one was a USC frat buddy and the other was a grad from UofArizona, and I can honestly say the fact the one went to USC really played to no advantage). Head over to the USC boards and talk to a * named “GeorgiaGirl”. She posts random crap about rankings and stuff as if she is trying to prove to herself that USC is one of the best universities.

USC is actually well known for its accounting program in leventhal. I was close to accepting their offer before I chose haas. USC is a great school, but obviously not the best

Bumpbumpbump

USC is known for accounting, which is strange, because you usually get a master’s degree when you want to be an accountant and their master program’s admissions stats are pretty low really.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see them drop out of the top 10 really, though it’s still a better school overall than most, so you would do fine going there.
