So I lately I have been searching info about my top school, which happens to be UT Austin, and right now I'm a senior who is regretting my first 2 years in high school.

I am an Indian male (Asian, not Native American Indian) living and going to high school in New Jersey with a 3.85 weighted GPA. (First two years in high school equated to a 3.69 GPA and then I jumped into a bunch of honors and AP courses so junior year I finished with a 3.97 ish GPA.)

SAT: 1970, 1350 math and reading
ACT: 29 Composite, 31 English 30 Math 29 Reading 27 Science
Played football all 4 years, National Honors Society (which I hear doesn't count for crap), 150 hours of volunteer work, & Created the only business related club in the history of this school.

Now I realize OOS, my grades are really not good enough at all, and I made a huge mistake Freshman and Sophomore year not trying at all; I could have easily pulled in at least a 3.9, but I failed to and that's my problem. I should hear back from Texas in a week but really am getting antsy and nervous right now, just want to face the facts if anyone has any experience with Texas or something please tell me what my chances are.

(I've already done lots of research online and realize that my chances are slim, I just want to have someone re-establish the fact that my chances are really not that good. This is sort of a wake up post for me, nervousness is getting to me)

Thank You to all who reply to this post ahead of time.
