@HighschoolSen1or Hi …my daughter has a 95% unweighted GPA (from New York but from what I’ve read that’s like a 3.9 on a 4.0 scale) and got 1490 on SAT. 12 APs. Good luck!! I hope you get good news soon
Have any non-autoadmits heard back from computer science in CNS?
@youremybluesky Thank you!!
Does anyone have an idea of the stats needed to be accepted to McCombs as an OOS applicant? I’m mostly interested in what score you think they are looking for, assuming the student has a good GPA in rigorous classes and a demonstrated interest/leadership in business as shown through their EC’s. Thanks.
@kansha 4.0 unweighted GPA, weighted 5.xx. also 800 in Math II and Chemistry subject. 20 APs
So it sounds like last night’s waves were primarily OOS and in state AA for Engineering and CNS?
I think I saw someone get in for McCombs.
Yes - they were OOS too.
@chemishUT Thanks for sharing your stats. We’re OOS, 1560 SAT, 4.51 GPA, 750 Chem, good ECs. Still no word.
My D is admitted to McCombs. Instate. Auto-admit.
So counting the December wave, this wave, and the other acceptances, would it be about 1/2 seats filled?
@collegemomjam my guess is 1290 for the lowest SAT score for OOS McCombs. Reviewing CC can be tough because the majority of peeps on here are the top 25% w 1450+ SAT scores. smarties
Thanks @StacysMom24 and congrats on your daughter’s acceptance! What a great option for her!
My D got accepted CNS physics yesterday with 1560 SAT, 800 on maths 2 and chemistry, 4.53 GPA , OOS
OOS applicant for McCombs, still waiting to hear back : / congrats to all who were accepted!!
When people report GPA, either weighted or unweighted do you think they just calculate their core classes or all classes? I’ve been told that colleges take out non-core classes when calculating GPA.
Hi! So glad to see everyone got accepted. I’m an OOS applicant (from Oklahoma) who applied in early October to the College of Liberal Arts but I haven’t heard anything. I couldn’t find anything yet on the thread but has any OOS applicant been accepted to COLA yet? If so, what were your stats? Thanks!
Admitted 1/10; CNS Biochem; wGPA 4.4; uwGPA 4.00; act 36; sat chem/math II 800/800; OOS; sent in applications on 12/1.
Does anyone know when (health science) honors decisions are usually released? I glanced around online and couldn’t find anything within 10 minutes.
Has anyone been rejected in any of these waves? Or are they saving those for last? Any news in nursing?
@ssabas If I remember correctly, last year they didn’t reject anyone until 1/31.
