Should we expect a wave tomorrow?
There’ll likely be a wave tomorrow, but nothing compared to what’s coming on the 31st/1st.
There might have been a bit of a wave this evening—I got an email from MyStatus confirming acceptance to Health Science Scholars at around 5:00pm PST. Also, as for timing, I don’t think anything has come via snail mail yet.
@suburbiatexas Yes! I’m a Liberal Arts major for Global Studies and I was admitted on the 18th.
hey has anyone gotten picked for 40 acres scholarship yet?
@Cogitare FWIW, my son did receive a snail mail package about 10 days after the acceptance notice on the portal.
Thank you @FructusSum
Any out-of-state applicants already admitted to the Cockrell School of Engineering?
@SuperLonghornDad I know I have seen some in this thread as well as the UT out of state thread.
What time will the wave be today and next week?
@redwarrior Last week the first posts started a little after 7pm
@redwarrior I don’t believe there is any proof that there will be a wave today or any other specific day. The only thing close to that is UT stating, those who applied prior to Nov 1st, will get a decision by Feb 1st and those after that will be notified by March 1st.
Now, based on previous “Waves” it does seem like they come out late afternoon to early evening ie 4PM, 5PM …7PM and I think there was a 9PM (all Central time of course). So for those who don’t like playing the stressful, refresh game, login into UT EID late on Feb 1st and check your status then. Good luck and Hook’em.
Has anyone actually received a rejection yet?
My daughter’s friend received a rejection to her major on Wednesday.
do you know what her major was and whether she was OOS or in-state?
Her major was chemistry and she is an auto admit in-state student.
Are you saying that a top 6% ranked (in HS) auto-admit got rejected?
Sorry for the confusion, she is an auto admit to the University. However, she did not get accepted to her major. Being an auto admit only means your guaranteed admission to UT, not that you’ll be accepted to your major of choice.
that is NOT a rejection!
Ah - I see.
Thanks
