Applied to Biology with 1500 SAT 8 AP courses 4.3 GPA Top 6.2% and got capped???
I don’t think UT ever rejects people. CAP is their way of rejecting, so yes I believe you can repeal CAP.

My friend with STELLAR stats got rejected. So disappointed in UT. They love all minorities except Asians. 
hi. just got capped. didn’t expect admission but I am glad the wait is over. my act was 29 and sat was 1310 so I knew it wasn’t happening but it’s ok. I am expecting on going to utsa anyways so maybe I’ll do the cap program with it. idk. bummed but it’s Gods plan haha

DD just got CAPped as well. 3.78, 26/1240, PSYCH major, which seems more appropriate versus some of the others who have just posted with such great stats. Would certainly accept PACE if it was offered. We will have to weigh this versus other Acceptances and potentially A&M, if she gets in there. As my DD just said “at least they didn’t reject me”. That’s my, glass is half full, daughter. Good luck and Hook’em everyone. UT is a great school.
