On a side note, I called the office trying to get an update, the lady just hung up on me after I told her what I was looking for. :neutral:

@icedmachiato ALL DAY LONG and a lot of the night! I am insane. Enough already, UT. Send out the acceptances. LHD was auto-admit and found out major and honors by November. This waiting sucks…
Is there anyone on here OOS that has heard??
Looking at the threads from last year and their comments, I am assuming there will only be a trickle of acceptances in December. Today will more than likely be the last day until end of January. The big wave will not be until January 31st. Also there is no rhyme or reason of who gets selected early. I am like everyone else hoping to hear something, but also realizing that end of January will more than likely be the case for most of us.
I am also a crazy momma! But seriously…HOW RUDE! They don’t need to treat us like that. TAMU is always very kind and informative even if I know we are bugging them.
THe last time I called to get anything from UT, they wouldn’t talk to me because I am not the actual student. It didn’t even seem to matter that my son is a minor!

Sorry. That’s funny! I needed this laugh bc UT is giving me anxiety everyday with curiosity. would be better if they had a definitive date of notification.

My son got in Electronic Engineering and Computer…just checked his status a few minutes ago after his mom’s request.
Looks like UT is releasing more acceptances today. We just saw our daughter got accepted to McCombs. Non-Auto Admit, TX

I get that UT is big, but wouldn’t it be better for the applicants and family’s psyche if UT releases their decisions in one day for priority and 1 day for RD? Even if it’s by department. But all at the same time.
This dragging it out week by week doesn’t seem efficient.
Think it’s time to start applying elsewhere. Was hoping we’d be done with it and don’t have to think further.
