It’s so funny to me that UT Dallas ended its CAP program but yet a good portion of first year UTD students seek to leave Richardson for UT Austin lol. I think if UT Dallas had better name recognition they would be more competitive with UT Austin which would be easier to do if they had Division I athletics … many studies show that strong Division I athletic programs can strengthen the brand and name recognition of a university. Almost wherever I go, I see someone wearing UT Longhorn gear
