February is here…Things getting heated up now…When do internationals hear from UT Austin normally?
Could come tomorrow or it could come in 28 days… This is killer
I have one kid already at UT. Somehow the waiting wasn’t as painful with him. I think it was because I had no idea what to expect. He got the auto admit letter and I thought that was it…then a college letter…then an honors letter…then a $ letter. I was only expecting one letter. Wish I had saved those letters ( he has them) or at least paid more attention to when they arrived.
when does UT usually release their final decisions? mid-march?

This is gonna be a long month
All admissions decisions will be made by Friday, February 27. I noticed the admissions events tours change from “Prospective Freshman Session & Tour (Grade 12)” to “Admitted Student Session & Tour” starting on March 1. Less than 4 weeks to go until everyone knows their decision!
It’s going to be a long couple of weeks. I feel like I’m going to be sick every time I open MyStatus (the problems of a non-auto admit 
).
Does anyone know of anyone getting denied?

@bonnie97 I would like to know the same thing. If you are going to deny anyway, send that information out. Waiting to hear on admission for my daughter is sending her acid reflux through the roof.
Does anyone know if you get a letter first or will your MyStatus page be updated first? As an out of state student and from a very rural area mail can and does get delayed. Wondering if they change your status first and then send the letter.
My daughter randomly checked her MyStatus one day and found out she had been admitted to UT and her major. The snail mail acceptance arrived a week or so later.
Has anyone called or would be willing to call and ask when in Feb Business/Engineering decisions come out?
Unfortunately, since I’m waiting to hear from McCombs, I bet those are going to come out last, probably the week of the 23rd.

From the UT website:
Most applicants for first-time undergraduate admission to the summer/fall semester are notified by the middle of April;
Once we make a decision about your admission, we’ll notify you through MyStatus within 24 hours of your decision and by mail as soon as possible.
I’ve been hearing all come out before march 1st ;/
