lol so funyyy!

Texas A&M Kingsville?

UTEP is a commuter school where only people from El Paso or recruited athletes go. If your from anywhere outside El Paso you will be stunned by the lack of people taking academics seriously. More than half the students are part time and the other half cross the bridge from Mexico each morning to go to school for free on forged financial aid documents

The sad part is… most of that is true!
The valedictorian of our school is going to Lamar and then University of Houston, because she was afraid of taking hard classes at a larger university. I was the salutatorian and I’m going to UT for the challenge of breaking small-town tradition.

This isn’t really a stereotype about UT, but I’m from Oregon, and when I told my friends that I chose to attend UT, they brought out all the Texas stereotypes :P

Looks like I will not hear anything until May.
Because one of my indicator courses is still in progress and UT needs my spring transcript to make decision.
Now I am worried about the spots would be all taken even before I send my transcript.

^^^ ^^^^csb

Wow, is there even a character limit to these posts? Loved the post!

Texas A&M University-Kingsville

True:
The town is lacking in excitement. There are things to do, and it is a friendly place. Though, there’s just not a huge selection of shopping or dining options (That’s not to say there’s not good food in town. There’s actually a lot of great local restaurants.).

Not True:
Everyone who goes here got rejected or didn’t bother applying to bigger, “better” schools. Some of the people here are chose to come here because we have a small campus, the people are friendly, and you won’t get lost in the crowd. We have some really great programs and do quite a bit of research for a school our size.

The students are actually quite diverse. We are primarily from South Texas, but there are still quite a few kids from Houston and San Antonio. There are your jocks, country kids, preps, hipsters, nerds, foreigners, etc. Really, the only group of people we don’t have are yuppie rich kids.

So funny, I almost took off my UT#1 big foamy football finger to tell you so. But I decided to type left handed, instead.

UTPA…TacoTech!!! lol I hadn’t heard that in years. It just got approved for PUF $$ so it will be interesting what the name change will be. Hopefully not the dreaded University of the America’s that we heard mentioned. That whole list was hilarious, thanks for taking the time to share, or as they’d say in UTPA “tanks for taking da time to chair.”
