University of the Pacific Acceptees

So who got in?

Are you planning to attend, and what attracts you about the school?

Lol, a bunch of other people I know from my school and I got in.
I’m actually pretty interested in UoP. If I don’t get accepted into Berkeley or Davis (mostly Davis, but if I got into Berkeley my parents would prefer me to go there…), I’d definitely go there. My friend who visited the campus before said that the campus is really pretty. The only thing that really deters me is the fact that Stockton is pretty unsafe…haha.

Oh, and there’s also the graduate-in-4-years guarantee. ( = v = )

How do you find out if you were accepted or not?

They send (or at least, they’re supposed to send) an email about six weeks after you apply, and I’m pretty sure you can check online as well. You should also receive a letter in the mail.

@kagami, same here! I’m waiting on Berkeley and Davis too. My mom wants me to go to USC though…

I’ve never visited UoP, but it’s still nice to get in somewhere :)

Good luck to everyone!

Is it a hard school to get into? My college counselor says I should get in, but the acceptance rates are lower than some of the other schools I applied to.

i checked online but all it said was that everything was completed…oh well i guess ill just never find out((:

what stats did u have if u got in ?

I got in, I really like the studying abroad program they have and the fact that classes are really small so you really get your money’s worth. I heard the campus is really pretty but what turns me away is that it’s NOT Southern California, so no sunny weather all year round. PLUS, IT’S IN STOCKTON. I really have no idea. I think I may go if UOP gives me the most FA out of all the schools.

Acceptance letter came in. I’m stoked but not sure if I’m feeling it yet. The campus looks beautiful. I guess I just gotta take a good look for myself.
