Basically, i want to know how difficult it is to get into UOP.

Also, i got the distinctive candidate application offer from UOP. i wanted to know if this will increase my chance of getting into UOP and how late can I send this online application?

i really want to get into UOP in a psychology or pre med major. Is the pre med major a difficult major to get into?
Thank you guys. Much appreciated!

36% Acceptance rate… Hard to say you haven’t provided stats etc. But since your are considered as a distinctive candidate (I received this email as well) I believe it said no long essay etc. they mailed me a log-in to start the application I don’t believe it’s too hard to get into to.

For the pre-med major your GPA and SAT have to be higher then average, but if they aren’t that doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance. The average SAT is between a 1550 and 1960, while the average unweighted GPA is about a 3.6. If you are able to visit the school, the have a brochure outside the admissions office, which shows the statistics for an applicant wanting to pursue the pre-med route. Other schools in your range(1500 SAT) include:

Azusa Pacific University
Mount Saint Mary’s College
UC Merced
UC Riverside

You definitely have a chance although you should probably work on your official sat score a little more. I got the distinctive candidate stuff and for a psych major it should be pretty easy to get in you actually don’t even have to write an essay if you do it through common app. But if you’re not from stockton you should definitely check it out before you apply cuz stockton can be a little boring
