Congratulations to everyone who are admitted! I’m a parent of 105 student. My daughter also received offer from UTSC coop physical & environmental science today!! While we will wait for the response from other two campuses, now considering if she should choose UTSC or McMaster life science because she wants to go graduate school in the future.

Hey guys, I got an offer from UTM, but UTSG and UTSC were still “Application Under Review” does this mean I got rejected or it didn’t come out

Has your daughter visited both campuses? My son is waiting to hear from McMaster environmental science. I was really impressed with UTSC from the tour in Jan 2023 - it’s just the right size and they have a master program for Environmental management and so many amenities and extracurriculars for students. McMaster may not have as much diversity and is in a smaller town. But McMaster is known for their problem-based learning which sounds great. I wonder if they give much scholarship that doesn’t require a separate application. It’s prob going to come down to either UTSC or Penn State (we are in-state) for my son - decisions decisions. It means it hasn’t come out yet. U of T does rolling admissions, in waves. There will be another wave in March.

Accepted for Social Sciences in Arts&Sci at Trinity College today. Got the UofT Scholars scholarship too :wink:

Thanks for sharing your valuable knowledge. We haven’t visit any campus in Canada yet because we are living in Singapore now. But my daughter really want to attend the school in Ontario because it’s safe and truly international environment from various aspects. We will make a quick travel there to make a final decision before May 1st^^;

My daughter just let me know this morning that she was accepted, Life Sciences.
Canadian citizen “through me”, applied as International (US dual citizen, lived her whole life in the US).
Too bad UofT is so slow compared to McGill - she received an acceptance from McGill in mid December so had much more time to fall in love with McGill in the meantime.
For reference, US student with all A’s throughout high school except one B in pre-calculus, which was balanced by a subsequent A in AP Calculus. Did not submit SAT/ACT scores for consideration.

hi. I applied and application was under review. then they asked for more documentation, and ever since then I am on application under review. for UTSC. is this a bad sign?
I do have a- level grades A,B and B. also I have been teaching physics for the past year(have not been in education)

I think end of March was the last message that my S got so it must be this week. Hopefully Friday at the latest.

  • 4.0 UW, 4.36 UC Capped, 4.55 Weighted
  • 8 AP (3 IP), 3 Honors, 4 CC Math
  • 1540 SAT (though he doesn’t remember reporting those)
  • ECs including teaching, robotics, some research
