On my portal, I got an update telling me to upload “AP physics.” Do they want my AP physics test? Also, I haven’t been admitted yet, so I’m not sure why they’re asking me to upload an AP test.
@Samster5400 probably because they require the most up-to-date grades to make evaluations. They sent me an email a while back requesting some of my grades too, I also haven’t been given an admissions decision yet.
Hey guys, are the March decisions already over or like what’s going on?
Guys, I got admitted into Ind. Eng on February 6th. Until yesterday there was an offer letter in my engineering portal but now it is saying that decision is pending for my application and the offer letter is gone. The same thing happened to one of my friends who also got admitted into ind. eng. Do you have any idea why it happened or what does it mean?
@eternal00 maybe its a technical issue? If I were you I’d contact the office to ask. Hope all turns out good for u!
Life Sciences was my first option and it says it’s still under review. I did receive acceptance into architecture on February 26.
Are you a US student @Wantanoffer ?
Is anyone here a domestic Canadian student outside of Ontario?
@letmeintocolege do you mind if I ask you where you’re from and how’s your marks? I’m from Alberta and I am still waiting.
@Chevylove1972 I did! On Feb 26.
@anayamar Why did you choose Woodsworth? Is it good? I chose woodsworth too so I am just wondering because everyone else chose Trinity.
I am an international student from Indonesia. Based on UofT website, students from Indonesia need to upload the national exam results. However, I won’t have the results until mid May as I am still a 12th grader and will take the exam on April (The government give students the date and we can’t take it before we reach 12th grade not like SAT which you can take before you reach 12th grade). My application status is still under review since January.
I got an email saying that I need to upload all of my transcripts. I’ve uploaded everything except the results of my national exam.
Is it affecting my application? Will I get my offer on this late March period? Is it possible for them to give me a conditional offer?
Hi all, I am wondering about my chances for getting into Life Sciences at U of T.
I am a 105D student applying for undergraduate studies at U of T. I applied for 2 choices: Life Sciences (first choice) and architecture (second choice). I received my admission to Daniels Faculty of Architecture February 26 with the U of T scholars scholarship. Since I am 105D, I know that I am only supposed to be considered for my first choice. However, I emailed admissions and they said that I will be considered for Life Sciences as well even though I am accepted into Architecture.
I am really hoping to be admitted into Life Sciences, but I have not heard back so far. I know that the competitive average for Life Sciences is lower than the competitive average for Architecture, so does that guarantee that I will get into Life Sciences as well? I know that basically all of my other friends who have applied to U of T life sciences have not heard back yet, and other forums say that a huge wave of admissions should come out right about now till mid-April? If I do get accepted into Life Sciences, what are the chances that I will also receive the U of T scholars scholarship? I do not remember choosing a college to be in when I applied for Life Sciences through OUAC… did I do something wrong?
I have a 96 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics, 95 in Biology, 98 in Calculus, 96 in Math 30-1, 95 in Chinese, 80 in English, and 83 in Social Studies.
My predicted IB grade is 39.
I am unsure as to how they will be evaluating my marks.
I’m from Indonesia too but I don’t get that kind of email. Based on UofT website, we should upload a letter of explanation : “If you will not be writing the test or if you are currently preparing to write the test, upload a signed and dated letter of explanation.” Have you upload it?
I am a domestic student, so I do not have to do this. You could send them an email or call them to ask @shava17
Also what did you apply to @shava17
@Carol0702 My son is from Indian CBSE board and his exams are going to be over on 30th March and results expected end May. He has got offer for Undecided engineering with condition that he scores at least B1 in PCM. His ACT was 35, SAT Maths 2 800, SAT Physics 760 and SAT Chem 760, Class IX 9.8 GPA, Class X 10 GPA, Pre board XII 89.6%. You should upload your mid term results or Pre board result or any other result that you have which is closest to actual exam. Also the transcript you would have uploaded should have 9, 10, 11 and 12 predicted marks. Idea is to let admission team gain as much info as possible about your academic credentials. All the best
@snowykitkat I replied @Carol0702 but forgot to mention her earlier ? I apply for artsci utsg and my application status is still under review since January.
@shava17 ugh same. I really want admission soon and stop waiting. Did you apply to Life Sciences…?
@shava17 I’ve uploaded the letter of explanation since January although they didn’t ask me to. I also apply for artsci utsg!?
