The agony is killing as UOT is 1st choice
Good luck @cntower, are you going to ask them for a decision before May 1? We are debating when is the “ideal” time to ask for a decision. Or is it better or feasible to ask a US school for more time (past May 1) to decide? …
Anyone here know when the last date to receive the decisions in this round is?
@MagonRay I think it’s May
Thanks @waiting4newz .Will wait for them to decide … Good luck all…
Just checked my portal and saw my offer to Studies in the Life Sciences at St. George’s ! So happy!
I called the Faculty of Arts and Science and got some information for my fellow applicants. So apparently, they are very much behind schedule. The wave for March/April is most definitely not complete and user syx212 is also proof of that. If you are an applicant from within the United States, the person on the phone let me know that they are on kind of put on priority and are doing everything they can to ensure that any US applicant will get a decision by May 1st.
I’m still waiting on my decision but from the replies on my earlier post, it looks like I’m not gonna get in.
Got this on my portal: “The admissions committee has now made a decision on your application. Your status will be updated within the next few days.” I find it weird that they dont just post the decision right away.
Got in Arts and Sciences yesterday at Victoria for CS. Good luck to all waiting, be patient, offers are still
coming out.
Just checked and got into UofTM! Social sciences. I’m taking A levels, all the best to the rest hopefully good news is coming your way too!
Hey guys.I am an international student, and I have applied to UTM but haven’t heard anything yet. I uploaded the documents very late though- 2 weeks before the deadline- and some were required after the initial review of my application. Should I email them asking when my decision will be released?
Thanks!
@raneed32 2 weeks before the deadline isn’t late at all. I don’t think that if you email them that they would give an exact date. I would just wait for an answer and make sure that you carry in all documents. Remember they would still be sending decision during April and may.
@ebite043 oh okay. Thank you so much for your help. I have submitted all the documents, and I really hope they will not deny after all this time. Did you receive your admission decision?
@raneed32 I send in my documents on the last day of the deadline and literally had to update it couples days after. Luckily I got my admission in the beginning of April
Just got admitted to UofTM for Studies in Humanities (first choice) !!! I’m over the moon But does anyone know if I can withdraw from U of T after I submit enrollment deposit? I’m still waiting for a couple more decisions
@Dreamer2023 yea you can withdraw but it’s a non refundable fee
@ebite043 Thanks for your reply! So am I to understand that there will be no other consequences apart from the loss of enrollment deposit?
Yes I would assume so but just to be sure send an email or call
Which other universities did you apply to?
I am an international student from Indonesia and i have just been admitted to the UofTM for studies in social sciences today! i am very happy and thankful!!
