University of Victoria and Simon Fraser University

Does anyone know anything about these universities? I stumbled upon them last week, and they really has me intrigued. I've visited Victoria before and I loved the island, but I really wasn't looking for the university at that time, and Simon Fraser looks intriguing in that it's located right near Vancouver!

Anyhow, U of V seems to be a VERY affordable option - unless I'm incorrect, the total comprehensive cost for room/board, tuition, and fees for American students is around $19,000! Simon Fraser also looks to be a steal at $20,155/year.

Can anyone tell me more about these universities?

To the top.

I don't know too much... but I think U Vic is more artsy. I think SFU has a good business program?

I've heard UVic's campus is gorgeous, and the weather is great...SFU's campus is very...concrete/utilitarian... UVic seems more arts-oriented, as I <3Pi said...

Both UVic and SFU are top ranked (1 and 2 respectively) for the "Comprehensive University" according to McLeans (Canada's version of USNWR)

What are you looking for in a school?

Oh yeah... SFU is grey. I personally don't see how anyone can get any motivation to learn there...haha.

Haha, I wasn't a fan when I visited (didn't help that it was a cloudy day either :P) but I know some people who liked something about it, so to each his own.
