OK, so I have a shit GPA. I got straight B+s in sophomore and freshmen year. This year is my junior year, and I'm currently doing very well, I should end up getting all As or at least 6 As and 2 Bs. This will put my weighted GPA around 3.7-3.8 and my unweighted around 3.4-3.5. I've looked up this GPA and everyone that gets these GPAs usually have low SAT scores, but I'm not a low-tier student. I have a very rigorous schedule (lots of APs, took physics early, no filler classes) and on my SAT practice tests I have scored between 2100-2300. I also go to one of the top 20 high schools in the nation, and I'm in-state. I seem to have a slightly unique situation so I'm asking what you guys think.

If you go to TJ, be aware that they basically have a quota with a cutoff based on GPA. It’s unfortunate, but the case. I can’t say for sure, but they likely have this for other top Virginia high schools.
