Guys I got deferred! I’m kinda happy, kinda sad. I’m happy because I still have another shot! Never give up! And I’m kinda sad because now I have to wait even longer for a actual decision to be release. Congrats though to all who got accepted. You really deserve it! Everything you worked for has paid off. Now the real journey is beginning. To those who were rejected. Do not face disappointment. Instead be proud that you had the courage to apply to a competitive school wait 2 months for a decision! Stay focus and all will come to you!
Guys, I was accepted with a 1260 SAT score. Definitely a holistic approach! Don’t stress if your SAT scores aren’t extremely high.
Did anyone get into Echols Scholars? Or is that admission released separately? I’m accepted OOS, btw
is anyone else’s SIS down? none of the pages are loading for me and i’ve tried with multiple computers/browsers! i’m guessing it’s a traffic problem but still annoying
Deferred OOS! I knew for sure I was gonna get rejected, but oh my gosh, I had no idea I’d be happy with a deferment! Congrats to everyone who got accepted!
@VAResident2021_ 2380 SAT…deferred. Shows you that they look at much more lol. Kinda wish they just looked at SAT scores :P.
Accepted OOS, my first acceptance and it feels amazing!
To the differed/rejected applicants, don’t feel down at all man, there’s so much luck involved. Good luck with your RD results!!
@collegemomjam weighted gpa 4.0, unweighted 3.9 sat out of 1600
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to sign in to SIS is it the myUVA username? I dont see another login info email

This is tough to understand…
They sent the SIS ID a while back in an email when I first applied. For me at least, it’s my initials and some random numbers/letters. Hope this helps!
@hopefulliz do u know if its the same as your myUVA username? I have no email about SIS
engineering got the dub baby!
Cowenite – read this.
The initial email you got from UVA may have gone straight into spam/trash. That’s what happened to us. If that happened, the original email is likely to have been auto-deleted by now. So you have to start over.

I’m pretty happy with the deferral, thought I would be rejected right off the bat. But congrats to everyone who got accepted! Even though I had way lower scores and out of state, I’m pretty happy I have a second chance! Those with lower stats, don’t give up hope!
