I’m pretty sure decisions will be released next week (I hope)
@moneylove @DuelingGloves @JuicyMango I’m instate and I don’t see a “myevents” button either on my sis-becoming more anxious as the days get closer.
My daughter’s says the same as @3kidsinMA …nothing about myevents. I would assume this means nothing about accepted, deny, deferred. The waiting continues 
@3kidsinMA That’s exactly what mine says. The tab also says “Accept Admission” when you click “View Decision”.
@nomusicnolifex hold on that’s different…ours say decisions not available and to check back on Jan. 31…yours actually says “accept admission”? That sounds like a decision has been made…does anyone else have that?
@nomusicnolifex Woah it says “Accept Admission” when you click on “view decision” in that rectangle box at the bottom? For me, it just says that decisions aren’t available and to check back on January 31st and gives me the box to withdraw application. This is interesting.
EDIT The name for the tab of the page in Firefox says “Accept Admission” is that maybe what you’re talking about?
No, it says “Accept Admission” on the tab that you open up. I specified tab; I did not say it shows up in the box.
@nomusicnolifex Yes, I see that now. I have it too. I’m curious to see if that’s for everyone or if it means anything.
The wording sounds promising! We wouldn’t have to “accept admission” if we didn’t get in? Once again this is all speculation, but it’s fun to do while we wait!
@nomusicnolifex @collegemomjam @UVAHopeful543 My tab also says “Accept Admission” but I perused last year’s UVA thread and apparently the same thing happened to last year’s applicants.
This is what Dean J said about it: "There’s nothing to this. We aren’t done yet, so there are no final decisions to load into SIS. So though its exciting I probably wouldn’t read too much into this

I don’t see this “accept admission” tab anywhere…where exactly is it? Sorry for being dense…maybe my daughter just doesn’t have it? I thought she had what everyone else has, just the view decision box and then when you click that is says no decision made yet. I don’t see tabs anywhere.
OK, sorry…now we see it. My daughter has it too. I have no idea if that is new or not, I never looked at the tab before when she was logging in.
I think everyone has it. Prob doesn’t mean anything.
If you can’t see it, should be on the top of your browser after you “view decision” across the tab.
Where is the “myevents” tab? I vaguely remember it from a while go, but can’t find it anymore.
Though I understand we are all eager to receive our decisions, I don’t think its healthy to keep checking the portal when we know they will email us when the decisions are out. There isn’t going to be some glitch in the system that tells us if we are accepted - just wait for the email and don’t think about it until then otherwise your gonna freaking get an ulcer from all the stress. Yes, everyone has that tab I believe. For those still looking, open up another tab on the same page (the plus sign at the top of the browser) and you will see the UVA sis tab that states “accept admission”
@hcmom65 the actual tab on the browser should say “Accept Admission”
