my brother went to WVU and has done really well for himself. it can get you where you want to go, and a free ride is always nice for graduating debt-free. but if you can go to a school the caliber of UVa for only $4k per year in loans – well, it would be hard for me to turn that down.
UVa will give you much better versions of everything you would get in WVU. 16k loan in 4 years aren’t bad at all.
While I know it mostly depends on whether you make the best of it, the college experience and peer atmosphere are also important.

Doesn’t sound incredibly mouth-watering to me.
