I applied to transfer in Summer quarter, at this rate I will have no more than a week, maybe two to register. Getting a little nervous since I haven’t heard back yet.

I think assigned major as BA doesn’t necessarily mean we have been accepted to Foster school. The application page of foster is still showing in review. We have to wait for foster’s decision.
I have emailed the admission office, they said that we are accepted to foster if our assigned major said business administration foster school of business.

People pay for the enrollment fee $310 after seeing their assigned major on their transcript or UW application status. (If it is like pre-major, people won’t pay for the fee yet and they will be considering other schools too by taking some time. So I think once the assigned major shows up on the status page, you should be getting into the major. - Just my thoughts.
I called today Foster and they said they will be sending the decision emails today or tomorrow. So, I think they already finished reviewing…
Hey guys so I just got rejected about 6 minutes ago exactly at 12 est.
GPA: 3.92 on a +/- grading policy. Got two A-s my first semester so brought my overall down. I believe UW viewed it as a 4.0.
Hours: 46 after the spring semester that just passed.
Super bummed…thought I was a shoe in tbh.
I am Out of State also.

Does the loaded unofficial transcript for sure mean acceptance? Mine just loaded and idk if I should actually tell people yet lol.

@carmelxleon hey did you have 46 quarter units or semester units? Also, were you transferring from a community college or a university? We have similar stats and now I’m too scared to check.

Hey guys,
My unofficial transcript just loaded with my student #, junior standing. I applied for ECO (education) and for major it says pre social science. Any other education transfers getting their transcripts loaded? My application status is still the same though “we will inform you…” and no email.
Anyone has changes in application status or got an email already? I feel like the unofficial transcript is a good sign but am still nervous.

Check it again, see what it says for you now. I don’t know where you got that link from tho and how legit it is.

@Holahihello congrats it’s the same link on your UW portal that says “accept the admissions offer” everyone has it even if they got in or not yet. It just redirects you to that page so it’s a legit link
@carmelxleon I am absolutely blown away that you were rejected from sociology with that gpa. Of course soc isn’t a direct admit major, but still…gen ad should have been in the bag for you. Mind sharing if you had been short on prereqs or if your essay wasn’t very well written? 
@carmelxleon I’m so sorry! Did you complete your CADRS requirements. UW prioritizes in state cc transfers. I’m out of state too I got my associates in Sociology, my GPA is not as high as yours I def would have been rejected then lol.
