What do you think my chances would be? I know this school is very competitive for CS.

GPA? AP scores?

CS doesn’t seem to break down the instate vs out of state for direct to major admittance data but list the ranges as GPA 3.93-4.0 (4.0 scale), SAT 1420-1560, ACT 34-36. They specific this is the range rather than middle 50. So just on your SAT it looks a reach.

UW overall SAT middle 50 for out of state is 1370-1500.

Unweighted GPA would be helpful.

Also, what is your budget? What state are you from?

My unweighted gpa is a 3.85. I am from Texas. I would say if I got accepted, I would most likeley attend.

A lot of my senior friends from my HS applied and got into UW this year! I’m from in-state tho, but your stats definitely look comparable to theirs and I think you have a good shot, but I guess for all chance-me threads, nobody can say for sure.

Don’t apply to CS from out of state and expect to be admitted unless you have a major hook.
