University of Washington Honors Program?

Hi all, I am wondering if I could get into the University of Washington Honors Program. (<a href="http://depts.washington.edu/uwhonors/index.html%5B/url%5D">http://depts.washington.edu/uwhonors/index.html</a>)</p>

my stats:
GPA - 3.9 unweighted. I go to an average suburban public high school. I take the most challenging courses offered at my school and by the end of my senior year i will have 10-11 AP classes and numerous honors classes.
6 credits of math (up to AP Calculus and maybe Statistics)
5 credits of english (up to AP English Literature)
4 credits of spanish (up to AP Spanish)
4.5 credits of science (AP Biology and Chemistry)
4 credits of history/social studies (AP World, US, European, Psychology)
other various credits as required for high school graduation (PE, fine arts, etc.)

Class Rank - I am unsure of this. I am probably in the top 5% of my class.

SAT - maybe 2200-2300? I took the PSAT this year (sophomore) and got a 210. With preparation I think my scores would increase.

ECs - not great, I am on one sports team and I only play varsity occasionally. Next year I should be a regular varsity member. I lettered in Band and National Honor Society. Thats it.

I am a white female, middle class, instate.

Thanks so much for your feedback.

You seem to have pretty good stats, and if you achieve your target SAT score you would have a pretty good shot.

thanks for your help!

I'm at the UW, and one of my teachers is on the Honors adcom, and is always talking about applications he's accepted or rejected. Here's the thing - his decisions are based nearly completely on the essay. He was even saying that he likes the low-index people better than the high-index ones (i.e., he turned down someone with a high-90s index, but accepted someone with a high-50s index). Just to let you know! I think that the numbers are misleading, to some extent.

Well then, the UW Academy is the easiest way to get into the Honors program!

(or at least in my year, which was the least competitive)
