My D got an email telling her to check her portal.
Mine got waitlisted. does anyone know what the chances are of getting accepted?
The 2021 UW CDS has this information for the waitlist.
Some quick math tells us that the average waitlisted student has a 17% chance of acceptance if last years data holds for this application cycle.
Where is everyone seeing the info on purple and gold?
Same here!

My daughter found it right below the congratulations you were admitted on the main page of the portal

S got in OOS with purple & gold scholarship.
For students getting into pre-major (i.e. no direct admit), what’s your opinion on (1) trying standard adminission again after meeting minimum course credit requirements or (2) taking another direct admit offer at other comparable school?
Is it worth the risk of trying?
If you do not get into your intended major at the end, you only can have choices left (1) pick 2nd major which you may or may not like it (2) transfer to another school.
Thanks.
For pre-major, how to get into actual major? I got in for pre-major with p&g scholarship.
One kid waitlisted, one kid admitted with Purple and Gold scholarship. One worn-out parent… Congrats to all who were accepted and good luck to those waitlisted or still waiting.
