What are my chances of transferring to UW? I have a 3.95 gpa and have taken 65 credits so far from a Washington state community college. I'm working on my direct transfer agreement and will be done with it in December. I know that gpa is not the only factor UW takes into account for transfer students, which is why I am so concerned. There have been two quarters where I took less than a full load, but I am on track to completing my degree in the 2 year schedule. I am a 20yr old white female, if that makes a difference, and my major is Linguistics, which I have been preparing for as best as I can. I also do not work and am not really involved in many extra-curricular activities outside of my own hobbies.. Will that lower my chances of getting in? Thanks.

You should be fine. They reserve most of their transfer spots for instate ccs. 3.95 is above average. Go to a transfer session at the U. They are very informative about the process.
