For University of Washington, I am mainly aiming for a direct admit into their electrical engineering program.
I am well aware of the cost of going out of state, please do not worry.
Thanks everyone!

Assuming you have a strong senior year as well, you will get in to UW, no problem. Direct entry to Electrical Engineering will be tough. I would reach out to the program directly to learn more about admission statistics and how to stand out in the process. The out of state UC schools will be tough and, obviously, you know they will give close to ZERO financial aid. If you get in to UW it would be crazy to choose an out of state public school like the UCs and put yourself in huge debt.

@Advising123 Thanks! Yeah, unless I get into Berkeley with gates scholarship then I will be most likely attending UW. A couple of my senior friends(We are a STEM school) got direct admitted to the electrical engineering program with around 1800-1900 SAT and perfect UW GPA. They told me that a big hook would be by taking the initiative on pre req’s senior year by doing running start which can compensate for our sub-par SAT scores.

Did you end up getting into EE at UW?
