University of Washington

What do you think? Is their architecture program extremely competitive?

UWashington is very hard for out-of-state applicants. Some state legislatures require that the state college accepts 70% in-state applicants. This makes it very hard for OOS at places like UNC-Chapel Hill and UVA. However, UWash is about 85-90% instate students.

I'd go there if I lived in Washington.

i dont think its that bad i dont have great grades or sats and i got accepted :)

It isnt bad at all lol

it's just HUGE

UDup's undergrad student body at 27,000 is quite typical of that of a public university.

I don't know if I would say if the size of the UW is typical for public universities. For years it was known as the largest school (population) in the west, bigger even than the California public universities.
