Do the premeds at this school (white males) have a great chance at the med school assuming they have very high grades, MCATS, internships, etc?

I have heard mixes.

UW med has the #1 med school in the country, so I am very interested in this as I think i might want to go their for undergrad.

The med program is very strong so naturally being a UW undergrad is not much of a boost. I have several friends applying for their nursing program and despite the fact that they’re already UW undergrads with good grades, they are by no means shoo-ins.

It’s a great school for both undergrad, grad, and med. The hospital itself is in the top 10 in the country (according to the gigantic banner they have displayed on the outside of the hospital). Look into it, come visit, go see other schools, etc.

Not so much. About 25-30% of Med students come from UW undergrad. I have heard it is harder to get in from UW.
