i'm pretty new here... the only schools i see talked about in this forum are ivy league/UC so i can't get a good idea of what it takes to get into UW (seattle). any help would be appreciated. i live in-state, if that matters.. i think it does.

so... what are my chances at early decision registration and regular registration? if my post is missing anything just let me know. i'm new at this. thanks in advance.

bump... anybody?

I think you could probably get in. But I don't know too much about UW Seattle other than it's not as competitive as some of the UCs. But anyways. your GPA and ECs will probably get you in, plus, you have alumni connections. The only thing to keep in mind is that state schools place a higher focus on numbers - ie SAT scores and GPA.

instate with those stats? you're in.

for some anecdotal evidence, someone i know (out of state) got into university of washington with far inferior stats to urs.

You're in if you have taken the right courses and it looks like you have. Washington has a good web site that shows applicants chances.

Go to this link and click on graph.<a href="http://www.washington.edu/students/uga/fr/reqs/selectfrclass.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.washington.edu/students/uga/fr/reqs/selectfrclass.htm</a></p>

You're going to get in Washington in-state, don't worry about it. Easily have the grades and scores, and you're in-state.

thanks everyone. much appreciated.
